Meet the director

Andy Patikis at the age of 19 started his first business selling mobile phones from his North London offices. His entrepreneurial attitude and hard working ethic meant he was exposed to many different sales positions before he began his Insurance career in the City of London where he worked for a brokerage for 3 years. During this time he gained vital knowledge, formed contacts and built relationships with clients and Insurers alike.

At the age of 26 he recognised the increasing frustration in sorting his own insurances; the automated phone messages, overseas call centres and dealing with someone different on every call. He wanted a personal approach with someone who would listen to his individual needs and advise accordingly. With this in mind he started Oncover Insurance Services Ltd in 2000 and soon his philosophy of a first class personal service established Oncover Insurance as a professional competitor in the market. The company has indeed gone from strength to strength, however Andy has recognised the importance of maintaining a manageable client base. He will not compromise on service and so Oncover Insurance keep their client base at an optimum figure to ensure a high level of service is maintained.

In his spare time Andy is a keen football fan and he has been a season ticket holder at Arsenal FC since 1992.
